AX Bag Check will hold on to your props, costumes, loot, backpacks, bags, and other items for you when you enjoy any of the events at Anime Expo.
$5.00 for 4 hours, Any Single Item (up to 50 lbs.*):
At AX Bag Check, we will hold on to one item for 4 hours for the price of $5. If the attendee goes over 4 hours, a penalty charge of $5.00 will be applied during check out. If left over night it the penalty charge becomes $20.
Late fees will be collected at check out.
$10.00 for 8 hours, Any Single Item (up to 50 lbs.*):
At AX Bag Check, we will hold on to one item for 8 hours for the price of $10. If the attendee goes over 8 hours, a penalty charge of $5.00 will be applied during check out. If left over night it the penalty charge becomes $20.
Late fees will be collected at check out.
*Any item over the 50 lb. limit will be charged an additional $5.00 for every 10 lbs. over the 50 lbs. limit.
Any size item (up to 50 lbs.*) with unlimited in/out privileges for that day only. Each separate item counts as a new item. To put it simply you may not bring two items and check them in as one. Item must be picked up at the end of the day before bag check closes otherwise appropriate overnight fees will be charged.
* Those with 4-Day AX Badges will be given two tickets to earn $5 Off the Day Special. The tickets cannot be combined.
$25 - All Con Special:Any size item (up to 50 lbs.*) with unlimited in/out privileges throughout the convention. Each separate item counts as a new item**. Item must be picked up at the end of the day before bag check closes otherwise appropriate overnight fees will be charged. Simply bring your bag back the next day with the claim ticket attached, and you will not be charged for check-in. All Con Tickets will only be available on June 29 - July 1, and will be unavailable on July 2.
*Any item over the 50 lb. limit will be charged an additional $5.00 for every 10 lbs. over the 50 lb. limit.
**If one item is attached to the other, it still counts as two separate items. To count as one item nothing can be spilling out or attached to the other item and item being checked in must be able to completely shut. (This includes decorative weapons and props.)
In/out privileges will be allowed for All Day and All Con Tickets and only if the attendee's portion of the ticket is present. If the attendee's portion of the ticket is lost, the item will have to be checked back in and the day fee will be charged again if the attendee chooses to keep in/out privileges. Attendees may not use this service to check-out an item and then check-in a different item on the same ticket.
Items must be picked up before bag check closes. Any items not picked up at the end of the day will be charged an overnight storage fee. Overnight fee is $20.00 for all items, per night. Items must be picked up by 12:00 pm the next day. If item is not picked up by 12:00pm, said item is considered to be checked in for another day and an additional day fee will be charged. For example: An attendee picks an all day special, the item is checked in on the first day of the convention and not picked up until 4:30 pm the next day. A $15.00 charge for an All Day ticket check-in fee and a $20 for overnight fee. The same formula is applied to all price tiers.
Attendees should have their name on the claim ticket that is attached to the item. Attendees must show proper ID to claim items. A $5 lost ticket fee will be charged to recover your bag since extra time is required to go through to find your bag. We will check your ID and only release the item with the name on the ticket attached to the bag.
